Heckler & Koch recently announced a few new models of their extremely popular VP9 pistol at GunFest 2021. With more options, the potential for more buyers and more customization increases. One of the most practical upgrades one might make to their VP9 is adding extended baseplates. Strike Industries has once again expanded their EMP line with the Extended Magazine Plate for Heckler & Koch VP9.
The Strike Industries Extended Magazine Plate for HK VP9 was designed to provide smoother magazine reloading through a slow drag / no snag design while maintaining maximum magazine capacity. The Extended Magazine Plate (EMP) adds plus 5 9mm rounds to OEM Heckler & Koch magazines. Following the success of our EMP systems for pistols, the form factor and unique geometric design gives a unified and aggressive aesthetic look to your HK VP9.
Strike Industries Extended Magazine Plate for Heckler & Koch VP9
Like the Extended Magazine Plates for Glock and SIG pistols, these baseplates add five rounds to your 17-round OEM magazines. These are not compatible with VP9SK mags, or with California gun laws, so don’t bother ordering if you live on the best coast. The “low drag/no snag” design molds well with the look of the VP9. They are made of impact-resistant polymer and include a locking steel plate for added security. If you are using your VP9 for competition, these extended baseplates come in under the 140mm length limit set by the USPSA.
