Zev has come a long way from when they first came into my consciousness. All the way from making aftermarket parts for other pistols to producing firearms of their own. Touted by Zev as the most modular modular handgun on the market, their OZ9 pistols have been successful for some time. The newest iteration of that is the OZ9C X Combat.
The Zev OZ9C X Combat features all of the same functionality and modularity of the OZ9C in a configuration optimized for combat, duty, and other operational verticals. Compatible with optics made with the RMR footprint the Combat X is available as a Trijicon bundle.
The NEW OZ9C From Zev
The OZ9C X Combat follows a familiar form factor, but includes many desirable features that are usually reserved for the aftermarket. The windowless Citadel slide comes with forward and rear serrations. The top of the slide is also serrated to reduce glare. It comes cut for any red dot using the Trijicon RMR footprint. Internally, the OZ9C X Combat uses Zev’s patented Steel Receiver, which runs the entire length of the handgun.
