Due to the design of AR-15 pattered firearms, folding stocks have not been an option. Some companies have created folding stock adapters for ARs, but they require an additional part. Removing that need, Shield Arms has released an AR lower with folding capabilities built in. Welcome the Shield Arms Folding Lower Receiver (FLR).
The Shield Arms Folding Lower Receiver (FLR) is a patented billet lower receiver with a folding stock mechanism machined and built directly into the receiver, allowing the stock or pistol brace to fold without the need of an aftermarket folding stock adapter.
Available now in pistol, rifle, and stripped lower configuration.

The bolt carrier groups are 8620 M16 carriers. The pistol versions ship with a SB Tactical SBA3 brace. The rifle version comes with a B5 Systems Bravo stock.
