RMEF Protects 1,000 Acres of Elk Habitat in South Dakota

Our ever-increasing determination to protect our natural resources has just scored another win. The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in collaboration with one conservation-minded family scored that “W.” Thanks to them, nearly 1,000 acres of South Dakota prairie grasses and foothill grassland are now protected. These lands act as a habitat for more than 800 elk as well as other animals.
